Doug May, President and Chief Executive Officer
As the President and CEO of ComRent, Doug May leads one of the largest and most experienced load bank solutions companies focused on customers bringing power systems online faster and with absolute confidence that the equipment will run reliably. May has more than 30 years of experience in the technology and energy industries, most recently as a board director of ComRent, SPG Solar and Derive Systems. Between 2007 and 2011, May was President and CEO of Unirac, a high growth solar panel racking company. Prior to Unirac, May was the VP of Worldwide Sales, Service and Marketing at Xantrex, a leader in the renewable energy, consumer electronics and power products markets. May holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of Southern California.
As Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Lynn provides leadership and vision for ComRent. Lynn’s experience comes from holding financial leadership positions with operational experience both in the US and abroad. Prior to joining ComRent, Lynn was a Senior Vice President with a large Fortune 500 firm that provides construction services for government, power, water, and other major sectors of North America. Lynn also has an extensive background in international operations, ERP Management, safety and quality. Lynn holds a Master of Science in finance from the University of Colorado and a Bachelor Degree in Accounting from Colorado State University.
David Smidlein oversees global sales and business development for ComRent International. He has held various leadership positions in the industrial equipment rental market for over 23 years including positions with Nebraska Machinery Caterpillar, Topp Portable Air, JLG Industries, GE Power Systems, and Aggreko. Throughout his career, David has lead record sales growth, team development, and improvements to customer service.
As Senior VP of Sales, Tony, will hit the ground running applying his critical analysis and leadership for the ComRent Sales Team. Tony brings years of experience managing large sales organizations specifically focused on integrators, general contractors, large construction firms and EPC’s. Borck holds a Master of Business Administration from George Washington University and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Elon University.
Marcelo Gomez, VP of Marketing, directs all marketing functions including brand, product, digital and promotional initiatives in an effort to streamline communications about ComRent’s product innovations and world-class customer service. Gomez holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications from Benedictine College.
