As the President and CEO of ComRent, Raul Martinez leads our team of experts throughout the nation and around the globe, supporting our customers on a domestic and international scale. Previously the COO of ComRent, Raul has proven to be a key force in growing and expanding the ComRent brand, and leads the ComRent team to deliver unparalleled customer satisfaction and results. From business development, to leading start-up’s, all the way to establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships throughout the industry, Raul’s leadership has solidified ComRent’s position as the world’s industry leading load bank solutions provider. Raul has a B.S. in Computer Information Systems and spent the first part of his career in the Enterprise Software Industry where he led the North American Business Development efforts for Software AG, a leading international software company.
As Vice President of Operations, Joe coordinates and manages all operational and maintenance requirements of the ComRent load bank, transformer, switchgear, and cable rental fleet at 18 depots across North America. Joe has developed the equipment maintenance procedures and is responsible for ongoing equipment training programs for the entire technical staff. Prior to joining ComRent, Joe served in the U.S. Navy for 16 years and was Branch Manager and Shop Supervisor for United Rentals.
David Smidlein oversees global sales and business development for ComRent International. He has held various leadership positions in the industrial equipment rental market for over 23 years including positions with Nebraska Machinery Caterpillar, Topp Portable Air, JLG Industries, GE Power Systems, and Aggreko. Throughout his career, David has lead record sales growth, team development, and improvements to customer service.
As Chief Information Officer, Dennis Carroll brings a powerful blend of technology expertise, business acumen and leadership skills to ComRent, consistently matching business strategic objectives to IT and process solutions. With strategic influence extending far beyond the traditional confines of IT, Dennis has initiated and driven e-business, IT system and infrastructure, M&A/acquisition integration, customer service/support excellence, and organizational development initiatives with gratifying results. The seasoned IT executive has also been a key catalyst in driving achievement of the business vision and objectives of large global enterprises such as Volvo Rents, Alstom Power Rentals, General Electric Energy Services, and Cambridge Technology Partners. Dennis is active professionally and in the community, as a Big Brother, Big Sister mentor, Member of the American Rental Associations, and a Member of the CIO.com Council.
